The Global Payments Forum (GPF) is the premier place for financial industry stakeholders to be involved in steering the industry in more positive, efficient, and revenue-generating directions. The Global Payments Forum intends to be the forum for debate and direction on payment and cash issues arising from globalization. The activities of the Forum are tailored to establish the GPF as a frontrunning and decision-making participant of new and innovative payments initiatives, projects, and concepts that will renovate and propel stagnated processes forward.

The GPF's Mission Is To:

Identify, develop and drive strategic initiatives in international electronic payments through education, collaboration and information exchange.

GPF Membership Allows You To:

  • Contribute to the industry and global-reaching standards, policies, and publications the GPF produces;
  • Examine and address international payments best practices from regional and global perspectives;
  • Attend the GPF's 2-day educational and networking meetings (held three times annually in the U.S. and abroad);

A Few GPF Accomplishments:

  • Wrote the Concept Paper for a Global Automated Clearing House  that precipitated the WATCH initiative;
  • Developed a cross-border payment option that enables batch oriented electronic payments to interface with existing domestic payment systems;
  • Developed the Cross-Border Payment Operating Rules and the Cross-Border Payment User Guide; and
  • Developed a new ACH Standard Entry Class code to support cross-border payments in the United States.

  • Prompts organizational assessment of long-term goals and objectives and immediately-necessary short-term product enhancements;
  • Offers real-time information on emerging technologies and initiatives;
  • Schedules ample time for the networking reception and dinner;
  • Offers sessions from speakers from well-known organizations who present on industry-important topics;
  • Allows attendees to be strategically involved in the success and growth of the payments industry;
  • Fosters innovative processes and solutions for the benefit of the entire industry now and for the future; and
  • Offers firsthand knowledge of the value of the Forum.
